Meet Our Eye Doctor in Flagstaff AZ

Dr. Lexi Kortsen, formerly Ignace, was born and raised in Flagstaff, AZ. She is a Coconino High School alum and a Northern Arizona University graduate. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from Midwestern University’s Arizona College of Optometry. Dr. Kortsen always knew she wanted to return to Flagstaff upon receiving her Doctorate to provide quality eyecare in her hometown. Dr. Kortsen has a wide-ranging practice, including routine eye care, contact lens fittings and diabetic eye care. Dr. Kortsen also manages dry eyes, cataracts, glaucoma, macular degeneration, and various other ocular diseases.

Dr. Kortsen opened Highline Eye Care & Optical in 2021 with the goal of giving back to her community. In her free time, Dr. Kortsen enjoys spending time outdoors with her husband, daughter, and family.

Dr. Maureen Meyer was raised in Flagstaff, AZ. She completed her Doctor of Optometry degree from Southern California College of Optometry in 1990. After graduating, she returned to Flagstaff where she started and ran her own practice for over twenty years. Dr. Meyer is excited to join Highline Eye Care and continue offering the same quality eye care she has been providing the Flagstaff community since 1990.

Dr. Meyer has a wide-ranging practice that includes fitting contact lenses and managing various disease states such as dry eyes, glaucoma, cataracts, and diabetes. In her free time, Dr. Meyer enjoys hiking, running, and skiing.
